ok, so just last night summit entertainment released that Eclipse is going to be in theaters June 30th, 2010!!!! only 7 MONTHS after new moon is in theaters!!!
however eclipse is not going to be directed by chris weits, but someone else!!

NEW MOON TITLE!!!!!!!
This is THE new moon movie title!! it just came out yesterday, this title is not just starting the beginning of the year of excitement because new moon comes out, but it also is proving the date that new moon will be out in theaters!! (11.20.09) i'm extreemly excited, the new moon book was my 2nd favorite of the series, and i'm really excited for the movie!!
i was watching a video earlier, and it pointed out that twilights video heading, title, watever you call it was in blue, and the movie had a blueish tone, and since this title has an orange title, maybe the video will have an orangish tone, i think that would be really awesome!
also if you notice on the movie its called "The Twilight Saga New Moon" instead of just new moon, so thats a little different, and a few people i talked to dont like the idea, but i guess it makes since, so people who know nothing about the books but like the movies know that new moon is the seccond movie of the twilight series

Stephen King Disses Stephanie Meyer
Warning: There may be some spoilers
Okay, so many of you may have heard about The whole Stephen King Disses Stephanie Meyer thing. And honestly, i was really pissed about it. and when he said .....
“Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people… The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.”
i wanted to rip his throat out when he said "she's not very good" . but then i was thinking, does it really matter what Stephen king thinks and what he says about a love story specifically directed to teens and young adults, (and women) doesn't really matter, and heres why....
1. lets face it Stephen king is OLD, like i said earlier the book is directed towards younger people and women, so maybe he's just too old to realize why these stories are so amazing.
2. Stephen King writes gruesome, horrific stories, The Twilight Saga is a happy LOVE story, no wonder he wont like it
3. Maybe hes just jealous. Jealous because a gazillion years ago he was one of the worlds best authors but now Stephanie Meyer is the new Hot Author.
i know some of my reasons probably don't make much since, but o well!
Stephen King is a good author, I'm not saying he's not, but Stephanie Meyer is WAY WAY WAY better!! and he shouldn't diss one of the worlds most popular authors unless he wants his book sells to drop and a bunch of screaming fans pissed off.
Okay, I'm done ranting lol.

More News About the New Moon Cast!

WARNING: if you havent yet read new moon don't read this because there are spoilers...
So America Ferrara, (From "Ugly Betty" and "Gotta Kick it Up") Recently tried out for the part of Emily in the soon comming movie "New Moon." For those of you who don't remember Emily is Sam's girlfriend/fiance. I thi nk that America Ferrara would be a GREAT choice for Emily, shes a huge fan of twilight, so i'm sure she will play the character very well, and she is an AMAZING actor, so i really hope she gets the part.
Lucas Grabeel (Plays Ryan in High School Musical) also tried out to be Alec, one of the hightest ranked guards of the Volture, he is also Janes brother and he has a power to cut off peoples senses . I honestly dont really have an opinion on this one. Lucas, as far as I can tell is a pretty good actor, and he wont stick out as much as Dakota Fanning, or Vanessa Anne Hudgens would, but Alec doesnt have a very big part in the book, honestly the only time i can remember him is towards the end of Breaking Dawn. So.. yeah, im gonna remain neutral on this one until any further notice
In further news New Moon is Scheduled to begin filming March 23, 2009 and is also scheduled to be in theaters By November 20th 2009. This year *YAY*

Twilight Pic: The Guys!!
So i found this pic on EdwardandBella.net, and i thought it was the coolest, most hilarious thing EVER!! It's the guys of Twilight, and I LOVE it.

So i have recently come across some news for the Filming of New Moon, The movie based on the book by Stephanie Meyer, There may be some spoilers, so if you haven't read all of the book series i suggest you don't read this, and I'm sorry if i messed up some of the information, i get most of it off of fan websites, and magazine websites, and some are even rumors, so they might not even be true. Soo... here it is.

Will Taylor Lautner be coming back to play the role of Jacob Black?
Taylor Lautner will be coming back to play the part of Jacob Black, officially, Which is great in my opinion because he did GREAT in Twilight, even though his role was very small.
Who is Going To Be Directing New Moon?
Chris Weitz will be directing New Moon, and he's the guy who wrote the screen play for The Golden Compass, and he was also the producer of Nick and Norah's Infinite Play list. There has been some Controversy over whether or not he will do a good job directing New Moon, and people are concerned because "he's a man," but i honestly think that he will do a great job directing the movie, he has done amazing during other movies, I'm not saying I'm not gonna miss Katherine, she did a great job directing Twilight, but i trust that Chris won't screw it up.
Who Will Be Playing the parts of Jane and Leah?
Both Vanessa Anne Hudgens and Dakota Fanning were offered roles. Vanessa was offered the role of Leah, and Dakota was offered the role of Jane. I think Dakota will make a great Jane, she fits the description very well and i trust that she will do a good job, but i'm not so confident in Vanessa. Vanessa, as far as we have seen usually plays preppy, smart, school girl Gabriella in High School Musical, and she is very enthusiastic, and confident, but, Leah on the other hand, is very Depressing might be a good word for it, and she is always putting other people down, and she might even be a little selfish, and i'm afraid that Vanessa might not be able to show that through if she plays her. Don't get me wrong, Vanessa is a great actress, and she did very well in High School Musical, and she fits the description for Leah, looks wise, but i just dont think she will be able to do the "mean thing." But hopefully she will surprise us all and do a good job, and we might not even have to worry about it for a while, because i heard a rumor that she might not even show up in the movies until eclipse. But the main problem i have with Both Vanessa and Dakota joining the cast is they are both pretty famous, and the rest of the actors were pretty unknown before the making of twilight, and Vanessa and Dakota might just stick out a little bit, of the cast.
New Moon Filming and Release Dates
The filming of New Moon starts in March, and it will be being filmed in the United States, and Italy. and as far as we can tell it should actually be in theaters sometime in November of 2009 (This Year!!) I think it was sometime around the end of November, like November 20th, or sometime around there. Which is exciting, but its also very depressing, because it was by far the saddest book in the series, i know I'm gonna be crying my eyes out in theaters when it comes out. There is also going to be, like twilight, a midnight showing of New Moon, the day it comes out. which is cool.
No Breaking Dawn Movie?!?!
I also recently heard a Rumor that they are not going to make a Breaking Dawn movie. Which is Really REALLY depressing. It was my favorite book of the Series and i would HATE to not get to see it as a movie. They might not make it into a movie because of the sex scenes, and i don't see why they can't just cut that out, i know its a fairly big part in the book, but i would rather have them take parts out then not do the movie, They also might not do it because they have to rip Bella's stomach open to take the baby out, and they don't know how to film that, or something like that, and then again, they could always change how the baby is born, like i said, i would rather have them take parts out and change parts then not have the movie made at all.

The Twilight DVD comes out March 21st. Its a 2-disk DVD. One DVD has FIVE deleted scenes, and the other disk has FIVE extra added scenes. So all together their is a total of TEN scenes that were not shown in theaters. You can Pre-Order it now at familyvideo.com
